For this position we apply strong IS application technology knowledge in general and application configuration expertise specific.
You will be part of Large Motors & Generators in Västerås. We develop, sell and manufacture synchronous motors and generators up to 80 MW. Most of our production goes for export, the business is project oriented where each delivery is adapted to the customer's unique requirements. Your job: As an IS Application Owner your main task will be responsibility for both maintenance, development and improvement of mainly our sales configurator and cost estimation tools. Which means
Systematic maintenance of the toolsResponsibility for requirements collection for these toolsMeasuring the efficiency of the processes to create fact-based data for how the development should be managedSet up project activities for development in order to increase productivity in processEducate colleagues or other stakeholders in new functionalities
IS Application Owner also work within or in the interface to our PDM environment may be relevant, where we use PDM system Teamcenter and CAD program NX. Other IS-related tasks might be relevant dependent on suitability.
Who You are You are an engineer with documented experience in system maintenance and/or system development. You have experience to work with the program and tools C#, Database SQL on the platform .NET. As part of a global organization, fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
On a personal level you work systematically, structured and with logical thinking. You are open minded and always strive to understand requirements and to find the best possible solution. We valuate good reporting and communication skills.
