In collaboration between Academic Work and NASDAQ QMX we are currently looking for a number of Software Developer to join the Genium INET trading and Customer Management in Stockholm. Genium INET Trading and Customer Management is a team focused to delivered world class support, enhancement and project to existing and new customers around the world. The team has today three different cross functional team consisting of Business Analysts, Developers, Testers, Project Managers, and Technical Account Managers. The teams are responsible for supporting “their” different customers and are working cohesively as a unit, to ensure the successful delivery of Project, Enhancement and Support deliveries to their customers in the region.

The mission is part of our staffing, which means you will be employed by the Academic Work, but work as a consultant at NASDAQ OMX. The company's intention is that you eventually will be employed directly by them, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
You will work in a global environment, working closely with the customers, Business Analysts and Testers to support the design of new and existing functionality. You will as a Software Developer primarily be responsible for the collateral quality of the company's systems. Furthermore, you will get a unique insight into various parts that will give you a greater understanding of the business and additional tools that you can use on the way of becoming a skilled developer. Your job is also software trouble shooting and bug fixing. You will be programming in a Java/Linux environment, C and C++ development. Besides that, you have to be open minded about different types of work, as a developer you can be engaged in testing and vice versa. This position is a fantastic opportunity for those who looking to develop the technical and social skills while gaining a comprehensive knowledge of the stock market and stock market trading.

Review system requirements and design solutions to meet requirements

Code and unit test to provide high quality software

Database analysis and design

INFORMATION OM FÖRETAGET
To suit this position you will have strong communication skills and a customer focus. You have the ability to work effectively in a team and individually. You must be quality focused and forward thinking. We expect that you enjoy solving complex problems and is analytical and a result-oriented person. You will need to be “hands on” in your approach, be pro-active, demonstrate initiative and enjoy a fast pace working environment. Furthermore, you will be goal orientated, committed and highly motivated.

We prefer that you will have a Master of Science degree in computer science or similar level of education. It is an advantage if you have 0-2 years of experience of software development and design from distributed high performance systems. Also if you have a good understanding of financial markets is qualifying but it’s not a requirement.
