We are now looking into building up the HW Lab ASIC Validation team with some engineers with intermediate and senior experience at Ericsson in Lund. 
 About the job
The IP Design 3 team (part of Digital ASIC and FPGA in Lund) has the assignment, in cooperation with Kista, to develop and verify Ericsson DPD (Digital Pre Distortion) IP and perform HW Lab Verification and Validation activities for FPGA and ASIC products.
The work consists of developing a validation framework, performing electrical validation measurements and supporting product integration. There is a need to define and develop a reusable validation framework that will exercise ASIC devices under validation, control test instrument, collect measurements and generate automated reports. In order to prepare for the arrival of a new ASIC device test script and programs, based on generic and previous generation classes, need to be extended and customized, test boards need to be specified and designed and a validation plan need to be specified.
Dry runs and test preparation might be performed using virtual or emulation platforms. When the new ASIC arrives to our HW validation lab a bring up activity starts, followed by some initial manual debug and investigation. After this initial phase a core set of electrical validation measurements is executed to cover PVT, power correlation and performance aspects. 
Responsibilities & Tasks
As a Developer you will develop & maintain products (units, nodes, networks, systems and solutions), including development activities like requirement analysis, design, integration, verification, configuration management, PLM support, product documentation.
Position Qualifications
The position requires 6-8 years’ experience in functional verification and electrical validation. You as an applicant should also have a Bachelors or Master degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), and be fluent in written and spoken English. We do also expect that you are good team player, self-motivated, have a coaching attitude and be solution oriented. You should have a creative mindset and be open to creation and innovation.
Core competence
C, C++, Matlab and scripting languages
Comfortable with general HW lab setup 
High speed instruments (Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, BERT) 
Problem solving and analytical thinking
