Backend Developer, Golang

Your new position
At Sitoo you will work in the heart of Stockholm City with cutting edge technology to create the best mPOS system in retail. You’ll be part of a highly skilled team of developers exploring how far we can take technology to build an excellent platform. With your knowledge and experience you'll get the opportunity to shape the way we work and to influence which tools we use. At Sitoo you will be deep down writing Golang code, but also work with Devops tasks including building infrastructure with code using Terraform, store big data by integrating AWS services and automate deployment with CI, pipelines and Dockers. You will build low latency, highly scalable and redundant cloud services, mainly in AWS.

We believe that you have a passion for Backend development and a big interest in Golang and infrastructure. You always want to find the best solutions and are eager to learn new skills. It’s important for you to always perform and that you write solid well-written code using best practice. You prefer to work agile and in teams with the common goal to make the best solution there is.

Requirements
- Been working the last 3 years with Golang, Node.js or equal
- Experience in building cloud services with AWS, Google Cloud or similar
- Mastering REST API:s and other server-to-server protocols
- Been working and have a great understanding of using SQL-databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar

Other Requirements
- Fluent in English
- Master’s degree in computer science or similar
- Citizen of an EU country or have a current work permit for Sweden

Nice to have & Merits
- Worked with Docker or Kubernetes
- Been working with noSQL databases
- Experience of Test-Driven Development
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code and been working with Cloud Formation, Terraform or similar
