About appland:
Appland AB, who was acquired by OnMobile Global Limited during 2018, provides “Netflix for Mobile Games”. The service gives consumers free access to the 500+ best Android mobile games in the world (Disney, Electronic Arts, etc.). Appland have removed all ads and in-app purchases, and instead the consumer pays a monthly fee. The service is delivered to 60 mobile operators and handset manufacturers worldwide. Appland now want to take the next step and add streaming the games. The Company was incorporated 2011 in Gothenburg, Sweden, where it is still headquartered, and lead development is based.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
Below are some tasks you might be involved in:
* Design truly global database cloud setups.
* Develop and deploy Edge Computing Services including on premise hosting using Kubernetes.
* Create new global services, written in Node.JS/Javascript running on AWS Lambda.
* Running, adapting and managing Android emulators.
* Dynamically optimizing framerate, image compressions and resolution.
* New features and optimizations for services written in Node.JS/Javascript, Scala, PHP.
* Implement big data analyzation.
We expect you to be eager to broaden your experience and learn a lot of new stuff each and every day.
VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* 3+ years of backend development (preferably NodeJS).
* Experience with DevOps, Docker, Linux & AWS.
* Worked with database design (e.g. DynamoDB, ElasticSearch, MySQL).
* A genuine interest in software development and a quick learner!
