What we do at Detectify
Detectify was born from the simple idea that the internet is broken. Our founders are among the best ethical hackers in the world. They have found essential vulnerabilities at tech giants like Google, Facebook, and Dropbox and used their knowledge to build an advanced web application security scanner that is used by companies such as Spotify, Trello, and KING.

We also collaborate with a global network of handpicked white-hat hackers, who provide us with valuable security research. Our crowd-based security platform, Detectify Crowdsource, allows us to bring in the best independent security researchers in the world and automate their findings into our scanner.

The Crowdsource team
You will join the Crowdsource team. This team makes sure that the members of Detectify Crowdsource are engaged and enjoying the best possible experience when collaborating with Detectify.

When a white-hat hacker submits a vulnerability through our crowdsourcing platform, our team develops a module from the research, which is then automated by our web vulnerability scanner and made available to all our customers - this is how Detectify combines automation and crowdsourcing.

The Crowdsource team is diverse working with agile methodologies in a tech stack that consists of React.js, PHP/Golang, Microservices, DockerRabbitMQ.

What you'll get to do
As a Front-end Developer in our Crowdsource team, you will be a part of building a well-functioning architecture to perform well as we scale our Crowdsourcing community and the platform. Together with the team, you will also make decisions regarding new technologies being used.

Who you are

You care about design patterns, clean code, testing and anything that makes the code more useful. You consider user behaviour an important part of your delivery, and work toward simplicity and ease of use in your solutions.

Besides this, we think that you:

- Have 2+ years of experience as a JavaScript developer, with experience with React (or similar framework could also work but we are developing our platforms with React)
- Understand Agile principles
- Have knowledge of git best practices such as gitflow
