Senior Developer – Scania Connected Services and Solutions

Who we are
We are looking for a senior developer to join our agile team in the tribe Administration & Compliance within Scania Connected services. Our tribe is responsible for a collection of services that we provide to hauliers, including remote download and analysis of tachograph data.

We are organized in a BizDevOps setup, which means that we gather all the competence we need within the business area from operations and development to sales and market implementation.

Connected Services is a fast evolving business area. We aim high to reach our vision, and work close to our partners by developing new services for the transport industry and also to digitalise the transport processes.

We are mainly working in C# .Net. Currently our back end is both in AWS and on prem. We also have an embedded application in the vehicle communicator unit, written in C++.

Job description
Your primary responsibility will be to make sure the team makes good decisions when it comes to software architecture, security, and other factors. You will play a key role in creating and implementing the technical vision together with the team. Also, you will mentor and coach junior team members. In this role you should be able to adapt your communication, work independently, take initiatives and keep track of our technical solutions.

Your profile
You are a software engineer and you have a good understanding of programming principles and appreciation of the purpose and the practices of agile. You work in the complete stack, from backend to frontend.

We believe you have more than 10 years of professional work experience within software development and some experience as a technical lead or that you believe you have the possibilities to become a technical leader.
