Tech Lead to SEB

Job description
SEB is looking for a tech lead who will be focusing on improving our digital channels by developing a new system and building microsites within the latest technology. You will be part of an agile cross-functional team where you will play an important part in developing our digital customer experience and setting the standard for other developers in the organisation. This is a great opportunity for you who is looking for a role where you can write code the majority of the time - but still have a lot of opportunity to contribute to team growth and strategic initiatives. 

Responsibilities
As a Tech Lead at SEB you and your team will become a central part of our digital movement in a modern environment - in terms of technology, working methods and workplace. The team also develops patterns to be used by other team, e.g. standard solutions for logging in, common components, microservices, etc. This is makes our work important for the organisation and demands that we have developer experience in mind - as well as the customers. 

You will collaborate in a team of 10 ppl including front- and backend developers, test automation engineers, an agile coach and a product owners. The team members are versatile in both experience and nationality and Our vision is to always deliver the best technical solution. We are exploring new technology on both front and backend and have a strong focus on CI / CD to prioritize both speed and quality. The work is based on agile principles and autonomy within our area of responsibility - we believe that architecture and design grow within self-organizing teams.

Techniques we use depends on the application we develop, but to mention a few: C#, Webforms, .NET core, Javascript, Angular, MS-SQL, Docker, ELK, Google Cloud and more.   

Qualifications
To succeed in this role we believe you to be curious, appreciate constant exchange of knowledge and confident in taking your own initiative. You need to enjoy working in a team and successfully set the agenda for the team in collaboration with PO and Agile Coach. As our area is changing, we value your drive and expect you to have a positive attitude towards continuous improvement, but still have the patience and understand the complexity of doing major digital changes in an organisation with 1000 developers in mind. You run your projects on target and are a good communicator with a solution-oriented attitude.

In order to thrive as a Tech Lead in our team you have good knowledge of agile methods and have experience in developing web applications written in C#, Angular, HTML and CSS.
You have a keen interest in architecture and programming and like to familiarize yourself with new technologies, platforms and tools.

It’s meritorious if you previous experience of leading a team and have worked with online architectures, DevOps and CI / CD. Are you interested in container technology, data models and machine learning? Great - that is the way we are heading!

Language proficiency in English in both spoken and writing is a requirement to be able to communicate effectively in the role.
