Who we are
Climate ART is responsible for climate system development within Volvo Car Group. The section is part of Vehicle hardware unit within Volvo Car's R&D division (Product & Quality). The Climate Control and Calibration group has today 25 employees divided into three main teams, Cabin SW Development, Cabin SW Integration, Cabin SW Calibration, A/C SW. We have high diversity in our group, consisting of different ages, backgrounds and experiences with open dialogues and good fellowship among the teams. Now we are looking for a new colleague to complement us and bring additional value to the group.We are currently on the exciting transition journey into Agile way of working, therefore it is important for us to be adoptable to changes and show initiative to bring value and make changes happen. 
What we offer
As a Senior SW Developer in the Climate Control and Calibration team you will bring SW integration and Continuous Integration (CI) competence to the Agile development team and support the team with SW integration in all phases. As a part of a development team you will along with other team members, the Scrum Master and the Product Owner decide and prioritize tasks and together make sure to execute the delivery of your team and Climate ART backlogs. Cooperation and knowledge sharing are prioritized within the teams. We believe that what makes us stronger is sharing the development responsibility among the employees within the ART. We understand that it is the people that makes the difference.
What you will do
As Senior SW Developer Engineer within the Climate Software & Calibration team you will support your team by developing climate control environments and models for the Climate Software function developers to use. You will also take lead in our transformation towards Continuous Integration (CI).
 •    Lead and contribute to strategy for function integration and development in cooperation with your fellow software developers and function owners in a both creative and technical way with a holistic mindset
•    Lead our transformation towards Continuous Integration (CI).
•    Plan and perform SW integration, development and verification of climate control application software.
•    Share your knowledge and experience to other team members as well facilitating education sessions within the team and ART.•     Participate and contribute to the Team and ART ceremonies e.g sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint demos, system demos and product incremental planning with the complete agile release train. 
About yourself
•    B.Sc or M.Sc. within Software Engineering,  Engineering in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
•    Good knowledge in C++, and Python language
•    Good knowledge about SW integration.•    Good knowledge about Continuous Integration
•    Good knowledge in Simulink and MatLab •    Understanding of SAFe/Agile way of working
•    Knowledge about CIL, HIL knowledge, CANoe/CANalyzeris appreciated but not a requirement
•    Knowledge about INCA/MDA, dSpace products is appreciated but not a requirement   
•    Holds a valid driver´s licence B

You are collaborative with great communication skills and can build and maintain strong network and relationships with different stakeholders within and outside our ART and Solution. You like to drive cars and you are eager to understand how our customers use and experience our products, to be able to satisfy their expectations. You need to be fluent in English language, spoken and written.
