Creative 3D expert

Work description
As a 3D expert at RapidImages you will utilize your strong base of knowledge in 3D computer generated imagery creation. In the role, you will be highly involved in the heart of our business, which is based on visual 2D & 3D experiences. You will display a high degree of proficiency in most areas of modeling, texture and compositing as well as shading, lighting and look development. 

Prerequisites and characteristics
We believe that you are a passionate 3D expert and like to shine in every possible way. You can complete everything from start to finish on films shots and images, or work on specific tasks within a larger body of work. Your proactive attitude “Get it done” and “Get it right” go hand in hand without compromising on either.

You also need to have an extensive experience from the automotive industry, especially within the heavy-duty segment.
You are required to work on site in our office in Gothenburg and be able to communicate on basic level in Swedish.

Expected skills and Requirements for the position
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience as a 3D artist o Modeling Texturing
Artistic ability in shading/look development
Artistic ability in lighting/look development
Compositing
Scripting – python, max-script, mel or equivalent
Extensive knowledge within the heavy-duty industry o High level of creative problem solving
High ability to work autonomously and in group
To be able to communicate on basic level in Swedish
Fluent in English – written and spoken 

Programs
Nuke – senior level
3d studio max – senior level
Python, max-script, mel or equivalent – mid level

Preferred skills:
Fluent in 3dsmax (senior level)
Fluent in ray-trace engine – VRay (senior level)
3D tracking
Knowledge in electronics is a bonus
Experience from working in Unity & Unreal
Experience from working with AR/VR
Experience from advertising, game and film industry is a merit
