What we do at Detectify
Detectify was born from the simple idea that the internet is broken. Our founders are among the best ethical hackers in the world. They have found critical vulnerabilities at tech giants like Google, Facebook, and Dropbox and used their hacker knowledge to build an advanced web application security scanner that is used by companies such as Spotify, Trello, and KING.

We also collaborate with a global network of handpicked white-hat hackers, who continuously provide us with valuable security research. Our crowd-based security program Detectify Crowdsource allows us to bring in the best independent security researchers in the world and automate their findings into our tool.

What our Crowdsource team does
You will be joining the Crowdsource team. This team makes sure that the members of Detectify Crowdsource - our invite-only network of white-hat hackers - are engaged and enjoying the best possible experience when collaborating with Detectify.

When a white-hat hacker submits a vulnerability through our platform, our team develops a module from the research, which is then automated by our web vulnerability scanner and made available to all our customers - this is how Detectify combines crowdsourcing and automation.

What you will get to do
As a UX/UI designer in our Crowdsource team, you will make sure that we deliver the best possible user journey for our users: hackers and security researchers. You will develop a deep understanding of our users and their motivations, suggest design solutions that increase their engagement with our platform, and make the experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. Your daily responsibilities will include:

- Gather insights on user needs from our community, data team and other stakeholders

- Create design solution(s) and prototypes that deliver an engaging and consistent end-to-end user experience for the Crowdsource community

- Present and motivate your designs to stakeholder

- Handover the designs to our React developers

- Work closely with our platform team to make sure the features are implemented in the right way

Who you are
You are a person who considers interpreting and understanding the needs and motivations of others as your strenghts. You understand the value of setting goals as well as continuously evaluating and reflecting on your own solutions.

You have solid experience in creating, structuring and implementing your own ideas and proficient with:

- Design tools like Sketch, Invision, Adobe XD or preferably Figma

- Game thinking or Game design is a plus but not required

- Experience working with CSS is a plus
