Senior Cognos developer

Our Sweden office is currently looking for a Senior Cognos developer with wide technical competence to join our client location.

In this role you will have an IT focus, but with close contact with the business. Possess good knowledge to dig into technical questions.

-Relevant experience in the design and development of information systems and deep technical knowledge in relevant technology
-8-10 years of experience in data warehousing and business intelligence with emphasis on business requirements analysis, application design, development, testing, implementation and -maintenance of data warehouse and data mart systems
-5+ Years of experience on Cognos Tools namely Cognos 10 toolset (Framework Manager, Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Workspace, Workspace Advanced and Cognos Connection)
-5+ Years of Oracle and SQL Server DBMS experience
-Experience with development of metadata modeling using Cognos Framework Manager
-Expertise with Cognos Administration and Security
-Experience designing and delivering projects, packages, and reports using Framework Manager, Query Studio, Report Studio, Analysis Studio
-Experience in designing and building Dynamic Cubes, Dashboard and Widgets
-Experience leading business requirements capture sessions within all levels of the organization and documenting results
-Experience optimizing report object performance

-Degree in IT or equivalent work experience
-You are well structured, clear, direct and flexible.
-You have the ability to get people working in the same direction in a respectful and positive work environment.
-You must encompass team coordination and time management skills, motivational and leadership qualities.
-Excellent communication skills in English. Proficiency in Swedish is an advantage
-Have valid permit to live and work in Sweden
