System Developer

As Systems Developer you will play a key role in the technical implementation and support for BA Market’s IT system landscape.
 
You will work in close collaboration with our stakeholders in Front Office, Sales units and Back Office functions to secure continuous operations of our application landscape with end users, both in Stockholm and Hamburg.
 
We are looking forward to applications from university graduates as well as from candidates with several years of working experience already.
Dependent on your profile, you will soon have the opportunity of taking full responsibility for technical maintenance, solution design, and further development of our IT landscape.
 
The position will also give you the opportunity to join interesting projects and to run business driven change initiatives yourself. You should therefore be motivated to also develop a sound understanding of end-to-end business processes.
 
To be effective in this role, you must possess a sound technical expertise and have an active and solution driven approach. Also, you should have a self-starting attitude and strong communication and cooperation skills.

Your profile:
An academic degree within IT, engineering, business administration or similar
Self-driven, service-minded and communicative team-player
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Experience with:

- Power BI,
- Power Query,
- Microsoft Azure components,
- SQL Server,
- Data modelling and data warehousing
 
Additionally, it would be a merit if you would possess any of the following:
Experience with Java, Oracle, Python, ETL tools
A good understanding of financial/commodity market instruments
Experience with an ETRM system (e.g. ENDUR)
Understanding of agile methods (e.g. SCRUM, XP)
Knowledge in Swedish and/or German

The Operational Unit (OU) Operations is responsible for providing Analysis, IT, Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) and Project Management support to the Vattenfall Assets and Trading Division - the mission is to enable business. OU Operations is consisting of highly skilled employees with backgrounds ranging from mathematics, engineering, economics, IT to project management. We are present in the locations Hamburg, Stockholm and Amsterdam.
