Software Engineer

Northvolt is pushing the concept of smart factory. A critical component will be the development of a cutting-edge cloud platform that can manage the massive amounts of data generated at a highly connected factory.
We are looking for a person who is excited by these challenges in the same way we are. In addition, the excitement should be complemented by experience with a cloud service provider such as AWS and several years of experience in coding and maintaining systems in production.
The three areas you would be focusing on are divided into
The real-time system, listening to everything happening in the factories and reacting with designed business logic
Factory operations, delivering an API that drives processes on the factory floor such as material movement
Traceability, transforming and storing the data ingested both from our IoT platform and Factory Operations before handing off to our analytics team.

In doing this you will be working in a serverless environment with Golang and technologies such as Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, and MQTT.

Skills & Requirements
Experience with one or several cloud providers and programming languages (Go and Python preferred)
Good communication skills, ability to Get Stuff Done, and a learning mindset
Passion for solving problems with technology in simple yet innovative ways
