We are looking for a highly talented Junior Frontend Developer to join our team building Impactpool to be the best it can be. We are currently a small team, but will grow fast. Impactpool is a (SaaS enabled) career platform for talents and organizations that wants to make positive impact and contribute to sustainable development. Working as a frontend developer entails both working on our website but also on the SaaS self-service application.
You will be a key person to ensure that the UI is a joy to work with for our clients and users, which consists of a user base of close to 500 000 registered candidates and close to 1000 SaaS clients.
We have offices in Stockholm and Umeå. For this position we prefer Umeå, but Stockholm could also be an option.
What is the role?
You will be a key person in developing the product by contributing within these areas:
Implement new UX designs from Figma-prototypes
Update and rewrite existing UI based on Figma prototypes or other specification sources
Help out with formalizing the design system
Assist customer success on support issues
Be part of making sure that the frontend holds a technically high quality
Be proactive in keeping the system working by reviewing and fixing issues before they hit the support.
What kind of skills or background to you need?
We would love if you have the below. All, or at least most of it!
Fluent in English. Preferably a good level in Swedish. French and or Spanish is a plus
Prefers to work test-driven, or wants to start to do it
Usability, accessibility, and maintainability are some of your favorite -ilities
Knows when to overachieve and when good enough is enough
Have experience working with HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript
Experience with Reactjs, npm, and Webpack
Knows how to work with Git
Knowing your way around backend code is a plus, and especially Ruby code
Attention to detail, yet highly imaginative and creative
Good problem solver and an analytical mindset
Proven track record in making things happen - delivering results quickly and efficiently
Experience from a high growth startup is a plus
