Backend Developer with Java

Your challenge

IoT development is changing the way we see the world and we are now looking for a Backend Developer that is used to advise customers on technical challenges and guiding them to usable solutions. For that, we like you to have experience and Java knowledge. It would also be great if you are, like us, a team player who likes to share your knowledge to make us even greater. Maybe you have a knowledge that we lack, that would be awesome!

Depending on the customer, project, and your own interest, the technical challenges at Avalon can span the entire lifecycle of system development, from understanding requirements to testing and quality assurance. 

Here is a wish list of buzzwords and tech thingies of what we think might interest you. What we look for in our new hero:

Good understanding of DevOps, SDLC, CI/CD processesExperienced working with databasesUsed with RESTful services and ServletsWorked with Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate or other frameworksAgile and lean values3+ years of relevant experience

Not a must, but nice to have:

Experienced setting up the architectureHave experience from solutions involving cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS or GCP and want to develop in that direction
