Our Client, RichRelevance is looking for an EMEA Data Analyst to join their team in Malmö

"As a member of RichRelevance's Client Services team you will be part of a dedicated group focused on high profile and high impact A/B and multivariate (MVT) site testing and optimisation. Our primary focus is to provide coherent decision support, project and ROI validation and valuable insight into what drives transactions and profit. This is a high-paced growth environment that demands fast and accurate turn-around on deliverables. The right candidate will be self-starting and have a curiosity for understanding the evolving relationship between our customers? business objectives and our complex product offering. The Data Analyst role will require a balance between technical ability and general business acumen.
The Data Analyst must be technical yet conscious of business operations and strategy. This includes the ability to query a clickstream database and perform statistical significance testing, then communicating findings to clients. The candidate will be able to receive mentorship from resident experts, influence product and have a strong presence in driving meaningful impact that is seen by thousands of users. This ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven, startup environment. This person should have project management skills, an inquisitive nature and strong (and professional) interpersonal skills.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Be a subject matter expert on testing and optimisation

Distill our technology's performance down to a consumable level with familiar key performance indicators and visualizations

Provide insights and develop optimization recommendations

Ensure product/business owners interpret test results correctly and make informed decisions

Build/utilize tools and processes that will scale the reporting function

Perform diagnostic and forensic analysis of product performance

Develop new ways to view and describe our business and product lines

Collaborate with the Engineering and Product Management groups to translate analyses into dashboard product requirements

Collaborate with all roles in the Client Services teams to develop and present KPIs to top-tier ecommerce clients and brand advertisers

Travel may be required (<25%)

TECHNICAL SKILLS
You are experienced with SQL: expansive breadth of knowledge of query operators as well as performance considerations

You have advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, maybe even some VBA scripting, etc.)

You are proficient in basic statistical topics (conditional probability, sample sizing, Bayesian vs frequentist, ANOVA, DOE)

You have had exposure to web analytics tools (e.g., Omniture SiteCatalyst, WebTrends, CoreMetrics, Google Analytics) and/or business intelligence tools (e.g., JasperSoft, Crystal Reports, Pentaho)

You are familiar with consumer analytics and the associated metrics (e.g., analysis of online transactions, ave. order value, conversion rates)

Exposure to a statistical package (preferably R, but including SAS, SPSS, Matlab) is a plus

Experience with Hadoop (Hive/Pig/Hbase) is a plus

Scrappiness with UNIX is a plus

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Minimum 1-3+ years of professional experience

Bachelor's degree required, technical/business-oriented degree preferred"
