About the job The cross-functional team you will be joining is building Swedbank's next generation payments platform for international payments services and our mission is to ensure that our products are market leading and meets our customers' needs. As a t-shaped software engineer in our team you will be working with analysis, design, development and maintenance of payments platform infrastructure. The right person also can contribute to design and architecture of system solutions.
You will be a part of solid expertise team providing world-class services for millions of customers and strengthening Swedbank's payments ecosystem.
To be able to deliver in this area it is self-evident that you contribute with use of technology, how to handle problem areas and make recommendations for improvements.
Together with CFT team, you will be a key player for successful implementation of the GPP investment area´s roadmap and create a collaborative environment.
You conduct your work the agile way, ensuring that we efficiently develop the right things with the goal to provide customer satisfaction and new business opportunities.
In this position you will:
Contribute in all areas: analyse, design, develop, test and maintain services delivered by the team
Proactively reduce the technical depts
Solve and deploy solutions of incidents and problems
Participate in discovery work and together with the team and the APO find a good balance between life cycle management, maintenance, regulatory compliance as well as development of new features.
Have a strong business focus and understanding
Readiness to have on-call for the IT services developed and maintained by the team
Participate and follow maintenance processes (incident, problem, event as applicable)
Ensure quality awareness and care when designing, building and maintaining software
Act as team player in the cross functional team and constantly improve the way of working
What you need to succeed z/OS development skills, that includes:
IMS and/or CICS
(Optional) Tivoli scheduler
Relation Database skills:
SQL and DB2 specifics
Java development skills (optional)
Linux and WebSphere administrative skills (optional), that includes:
Linux shell scripting skills
WebSphere application management and basic concept understanding
WebSphere configuration basics
Have knowledge of/experience with manual and automated testing of functional and non-functional requirements. Experience from working within the payment's domain area is a big advantage and especially working with GPP (Global PAYplus).
