DataOps Engineer, BI

What you’ll do

As our first DataOps Engineer you will apply Agile Development, DevOps and statistical process controls to data analytics. You will have the end to end ownership of data integrity and deliverability at G-Loot. In this role you will be part of our BI team and be located in our central Stockholm office.

Other key responsibilities are:

- Explore, drive, design and implement solutions for deployment/monitoring automation
- Tracking plan updates - new product development or additional data requests
- Automate violation monitoring of Data Solutions/ETLS
- Ownership of data corrections and cleaning
- Maintain tech stack data integrations, BigQuery warehouse and Looker modelling
- Game data management
- Support in maintenance of BI middleware (used to pipe & transform game data) and the automation of GDPR compliance/requests
- Help optimize costs associated with cloud resources

Requirements

- Several years of experience running queries and compiling data for analytics in connection with data management
- Several of software engineering/DevOps/DataOps experience, writing SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
- Data warehousing experience, working in Big Query environment
- Experience with Data Orchestration
- Software development experience in any language is required. Python and Java is a plus

It’s a plus if you:

- Worked with Looker & an ETL software (Segment, mParticle, Stitch, etc.).
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, science or similar technical field
