Job description:
The Project Management Office, part of the BRM&PMO organization within Corporate IT, is providing professional project management services to the Clients projects where IT is an important component. The Project Manager is key to delivering high quality solutions by driving projects primarily towards external suppliers and ensuring internal customer satisfaction, compliance with internal processes, technical strategies and quality standards. In this assignment we are looking for a Project Manager with good technical understanding and experience from infrastructure projects.

The responsibilities for the Project Manager include:
- Plan and manage tasks/resources/budget required to deliver the solution
- Report project status to stakeholders and responsible persons within Corp IT
- Raise/highlight issues that require decision to steering group
- Secure that necessary project documentation is delivered in time
- Ensure effective handover to operations (AM)
- Produce final report and review before project closure

The background for this project is that we have a scattered network design globally and in many cases overloaded and old network equipment in combination with an increasing amount of data transfer. The objective is to secure a network that is easy to manage, efficient, flexible, reliable, secure and providing performance according to our business needs. The scope has been defined and includes the three main sites; Beijing, Tokyo and Lund. Low level design, inventory and site surveys will be performed, a number of network equipment will replaced/upgraded and QoS (Quality of Service) will be implemented. The project is in TG1 status and is planned to run for about 1,5 year.

Competence:
The following qualifications and qualities are desirable:
Proven experience from infrastructure projects, for example in the network or server operations area including technical understanding and interest.
Understanding and experience of the software development lifecycle, including software design, development, testing and implementation.
Proven experience of working both in an agile project model (preferably Scrum) as well as Waterfall (preferably PROPS)
Experience from working in an out-sourced environment, with both internal and external members of the project team
Proactive and results driven approach with a customer focused mind set.
Experience from managing complex, large-scale and strategic IT projects spanning multiple organizations and technology vendors.
Excellent team management experience, gained in a fast-changing international business environment.
Experience from managing both business and technology development.
Excellent communication both verbally and written, with ability to influence at all levels across an organization.
Fluent English written and spoken Commercial and political awareness with ability to multi-task whilst providing governance into multiple projects. Strong business focus with proven understanding tha technology is an enabler to the business.
Experience of operating successfully in an environment where time to market is a key differentiator. Ability to work and thrive in a deadline driven environment.
