Senior QA Engineer

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our team in Stockholm. In this role your focus will be to ensure that all product requirements are met, before a high-quality product is delivered to our customers.

Main responsibilities:

- Executing tests and reporting results
- Designing test cases to match the product requirements
- Estimating and developing testing strategies
- Tracking new project requirements
- Requirement analysis
- Data analysis
- Prioritizing test execution
- Identifying risks
- Debugging applications and root cause analysis
- Understanding business needs and tech feasibility
- Ensuring content and structure of testing documentation
- Checking and reviewing QA artifacts
- Reviewing test reports
- Designing and monitoring automated tests
- Taking part in meetings across departments

Profile

To be successful in this role, you will be experienced in:

- Streaming protocols (MPEG-DASH, HTTP Live Streaming (HLS), Smooth Streaming and HDS)
- Working with Set-top boxes, Gaming consoles, Smart TVs, Android applications, iOS applications, tvOS applications as well as Web applications
- API testing (REST and SOAP)
- Performance and security testing
- Automated tests (Python and Webdriver)
- Localization testing

We believe you have a wide knowledge of different testing approaches and are experience with different software development processes. As a person you are a self-starter and a great team player.
