UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benifits.

The Consultant role

As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.

Education/training

Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.

Experience

We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.

Required experience for this role:

• Documented experience of previous embedded software projects 

• Experience in writing testable and maintainable code. 

• Fluent in C/C++ and a good understanding of embedded software challenges and Linux 

• Excellent English, both verbally and written

Working language: English

Wanted competence

• iOS or Android mobile app development experience 

• Experience in agile tools such as Jira, Git and Jenkins 

• Experience in software development automation 

• Conversational Swedish skills 

• Driver’s license B 

About the position

• Design, develop and maintain embedded software running in the vehicles. 

• Engage with the rest of the team and actively pull tasks from the backlog 

• Write testable code and unit tests 

• Code review your colleagues 

• Keep an open mind, show interest in all parts of the solution and dip your toes into more parts than the embedded software. 

• Follow technical trends and raise innovative new features
