DevOps engineer - Video streaming

We are looking for DevOps Engineers with passion for designing robust highly automated cloud infrastructure!

You will be part of a DevOps team developing and maintaining the cloud infrastructure for our video streaming services such as Stream Pilot. The team is responsible for keeping the cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure always up as well as evolving our GitOps driven infrastructure. As part of the team, you will also be part of a rotating on-call schedule.

The development takes place in our Stockholm office, located just a few blocks from the Central Station.

All new employees are assigned a mentor and we have individual development plans for everyone.

At Edgeware you will work with Python, Boto3, AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, Prometheus, AlertManager & Opsgenie.

Must

- Strong coding ability, preferably in Python
- Hands-on experience from working with Azure, AWS or GCP or equal
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (we use Jenkins)
- Swedish or English in both speech and writing
- Work permit in Sweden/EU

Desirable

- Experience from working with IaC (infrastructure as code)
- Experience from working in a DevOps team, preferably on-call
- Knowledge of best-practices in an always-up, always-available service
- Experience in Cloud/AWS architecture design
- Interest in/experience from modern streamed media (DASH/HLS/MSS, MP4, MPEG-TS, DRM-systems)
