Our OAS system

The OAS (Object And Structure tool) is a central platform for Scania’s Product Data Management (PDM) that supports Scania’s modularity principle and are being used by almost all business processes and units within Scania. There are some 4500+ users and 50+ systems using OAS today. The platform is metadata driven and offers lots of different technical in depth challenges for you to develop within for a long time. As a result there are many business areas at Scania requesting enhancements to our platform as we play a vital role in Scania’s Product Data Management.

Job description

We are now searching for Test Automation Developers in the areas of Frontend-, Backend- and Performance. Since we strive for T-shape competence profiles you can have a background as a developer or as a automation tester. Initially focus is on developing automation tests but going forward frontend- or backend development in parallel is preferred.

As a Test Automation Developer you will play a vital role regarding quality of our software delivery. You take accountability for software quality, making sure we have a high standard in software deploys. You will be working in agile development teams and involved in all phases from requirements gathering to deploy of new weekly software version. All tests and deploys are to be fully automated. You will also be part of evolving test automation area.

In the Frontend test automation area we are working with:

• Language: Typescript (javascript, java)
• Tools: Protractor (Selenium, Puppeteer)
• CI: Gitlab, Jenkins
• 800 Protractor tests and 100+ Selenium test

In the Backend test automation area we are working with:

• Language: Java
• Tools: IntelliJ, RestAssured, TestNG/Junit, Rest
• CI: Jenkins, Gitlab
• 3000+ system- and integration-tests

In the Performance test automation area we are working with:

• Tools: SilkPerformer, JMeter
• CI: Jenkins
• 100+ Performance-, load-, stress- and reference-tests
• CI tool

In the development (frontend and backend) areas we are working with:

• Angular, Typescript, Java
• Gitlab

Your profile

You have a university degree in IT or similar and at least 3-4 years of experience in working as a automation tester or a system developer.

We need you that enjoy taking on technical challenges and improving current solutions or ways of working. If you think a delivery have flaws you will make yourself heard to avoid upcoming problems for our customers or our platform. As a person you are positive, communicative and driven person with an analytical problem solving mindset. You are a team player, but at the same time you have the ability to take initiatives and work independently. Eager to always learn more. Multicultural environments attract your interest and you have the will to adjust and develop in them. You need to be proficient in written and spoken English and eager to learn Swedish if not already Swedish speaking.
