Onboard System Test and Integration Engineer for our location in Stockholm, Sweden.


In this role, you will integrate and test the Onboard ETCS system as per specified requirements in system test racks integrating several hardware and software subsystems as well as test and commissioning tools.

You will perform testing to the ETCS Onboard System as per specified requirements and in order to ensure a safe, reliable, and quality delivery to our customers. This includes system integration, formal testing, fault tracing down to the source code, and root cause analysis for observed deviations.


Responsibilities:


• Track and understand changes in ETCS System and SW requirements, system and SW architecture, test system and test software architecture, test artifacts, simulators, and source code.

• Integrate new versions of hardware, software, tools, and test artifacts.

• Perform toot cause and impact analyses from source code up to operational scenarios for any deviation.

• Prepare, execute, and verify test cases and scripts (C#) in order to systematically find faults.

• Run risk-based, scenario-based, formal, and exploratory testing sessions

• Participates in technical document reviews and prepare documents for submission to the customers and suppliers.


Qualifications


• Bachelor or master degree in Computer Science, Electronics or other Engineering degree or equivalent work experience.

• Very strong experience in in ETCS Onboard testing, ideally for the Bombardier implementation.

• Technical experience with system and testing in development projects.

• Good understanding of HW and SW interactions within complex system architectures.

• Knowledge of communication protocols.

• Proven track record with requirement-based testing and exploratory testing

• Extensive Knowledge in programming languages like: C/C++/C# and fault tracing.

• Previous experience as software developer or knowledge of at least one scripting language is a plus.

• Previous experience in railway domain and knowledge of CENELEC normative will be considered a plus

• Knowledge of DOORS, Rational Synergy or similar tools are considered a plus.
