Your Role Within our Kingdom

We are looking for a talented front- end developer to shape the future of Unified Platform (UP) where King teams build, monitor, grow and monetize some of the most popular mobile games in the world such as Candy Crush Saga. The platform contains a suite of software products designed to provide a central, high- quality, robust and extensible toolset with a consistent and stable user experience.

The Unified Platform Foundation (UPF) team aims to provide a competitive technical ecosystem that allows internal teams to easily build applications and deliver to the platform. We provide some internal front- end and back- end frameworks, routing components to on- premise infrastructure and GCP, AAA system (Accounting, Authorization, Authentication), as well as delivery tools.

As a member of UPF team, you will play an important role to influence how technology evolves in King and how King teams develop their internal applications that bring great value to our games.

Your responsibilities might include:

• Develop new features to enhance UP user experience

• Develop reusable front- end libraries for King developers
• 
  
• Develop self- service tooling that allow King teams to create and manage their applications
• 
  
• Co- develop internal applications with other teams in UP
• 
  
• Research and drive technology innovations across teams

Skills to Create Thrills

• Experience in Javascript and Typescript
• 
  
• Experience in CSS3 and HTML5
• 
  
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and RPC
• 
  
• Solid experience with front- end frameworks/libraries such as React.js or similar
• 
  
• Familiar with front- end testing framework such as Jest or similar

Bonus Points

• Experience in MobX, Redux or similar application state management framework
• 
  
• Experience in modern UI libraries such as Ant Design or similar
• 
  
• Experience in Git/GitHub
• 
  
• Knowledge of cloud technologies on GCP or AWS
• 
  
• Knowledge of Java and Python
