What we do at Detectify
Detectify offers a web application security scanner that automates hacker attacks to help businesses stay safe. Our founders are among the best ethical hackers in the world having hacked tech giants such as Google, Facebook, or Dropbox. Today, we collaborate with over 200 handpicked white-hat hackers to continually help clients like Trello, Spotify and King make their websites more secure.

Based in central Stockholm, Sweden, we are one of Stockholm’s fastest-growing startups with 95+ employees from over 30 different nationalities. In November 2019, we secured €21 million in a Series B round, together with Balderton Capital.

The Core Team
The Core Services team today consists of 6 developers and is continuously growing. The team follows agile and DevOps practices, such as test automation, continuous deployment, application monitoring, and is keen on perpetual improvement and knowledge sharing.

The team is responsible for binding the bridge between the scanning technologies and users of the Detectify platform, and as part of that:

- Configuration of the scanning behavior
- Processing and presenting scanning results
- Functionalities such as Asset Inventory, Recorded User behavior, API, and integrations to third-party platforms, such as Slack, Jira, Splunk, and Zapier.

The team builds the best experience in customizing scanning behavior and security overview in tight cooperation with both web developers and scanning engine developers.

Technologies we use: Go, Docker/Kubernetes/Helm, various AWS products (RDS, S3, EC2, Route53, Kinesis Firehose, Athena), RabbitMQ, Prometheus/Grafana, Elasticsearch

You’ll face the challenge of scaling our services to process terabytes of information on a daily basis as we scale our scanning platform to a 100-fold from today.

What you'll get to do
You will develop and operate both new and existing services to further improve user experience of our scanning engines. You will also have opportunities for knowledge sharing with teammates and, coach/mentor other developers. You will be part of a self-managed team and be involved in all stages of the development lifecycle.

Who you are
You set and achieve your own ambitious goals and like to solve complicated technical problems with a team full of creative problem solvers.

You think it is meaningful to continuously evaluate and reflect on your own solutions and seek outside recommendations to improve.

You come from a background where you are used to working with load-heavy backend applications and worked with microservices, data streaming, and message queues.

Experience with Go is a plus, but other language experiences, such as Java, .NET, Python or Rust are also good to start with. Even better if you previously had experience with developing and scaling SaaS products.
