What we do at Detectify
Detectify offers a web application security scanner that automates hacker attacks to help businesses stay safe. Our founders are among the best ethical hackers in the world having hacked tech giants such as Google, Facebook, or Dropbox. Today, we collaborate with over 200 handpicked white-hat hackers to continually help clients like Trello, Spotify and King make their websites more secure.

Based in central Stockholm, Sweden, we are one of Stockholm’s fastest-growing startups with 100+ employees from over 30 different nationalities. In November 2019, we secured €21 million in a Series B round, together with Balderton Capital.

The Scanning Engines Team
The Scanning Engines team is responsible for delivering vulnerability tests for our users, and all related activities, such as network discovery, web crawling and technology fingerprinting. The team aims to provide the best possible scanning execution with accurate port scanning and fingerprinting, comprehensive web crawling and broad vulnerability detection.

The team develops and operates a number of components written in Go, .NET, and Java with a set of different technologies, such as:

- Docker/Kubernetes/Helm,
- RabbitMQ,
- Prometheus/Grafana,
- AWS products (RDS, S3, EC2, CloudFront, Route53).

In addition, various web technologies (CDP, AXFR, Certificate Transparency, DMARC, CORS, DNSSEC, etc.) are utilized to gather the required information.

Today the team consists of 5 developers but is continuously growing. The team follows agile and DevOps practices, such as test automation, continuous deployment, application monitoring, and is keen on continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

What you'll get to do
You will develop and operate both new and existing services to further improve our scanning engines. You will also have the opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with the team, as well as coach/mentor other developers. Who you are
You set and achieve your own ambitious goals and like to solve complicated technical problems with a team full of creative problem solvers. You think it is meaningful to continuously evaluate and reflect on your own solutions, and seek outside recommendations to improve.

You come from a background where you are used to working with load-heavy backend applications and worked with microservices, data streaming, and message queues, or even network technologies.
You have experience in either Go, Java or .NET development. Even better if you previously had experience with developing and scaling SaaS products
