Passionate infotainment & connectivity engineer

We are looking for you, a driven Software Engineer that wants to be part of developing the next generation of Infotainment Systems and Connectivity technology!

You are a positive and driven engineer that thrive when facing a new challenge where you can develop on a day to day basis. You get excited by technologies in areas like Android Platform, Connectivity, User interaction, Security, Android Automotive app development, Climate control and other car functions. That your team is working with an agile environment and sometimes cross functional to help each other out is of course something you find amazing! Your team will consist of fun and likeminded colleagues that you can take on new challenges with.

At ALTEN you will work as a consultant which means you will have opportunity to try out different sectors. Your first assignment starts in the Infotainment and Connectivity area. And after that many doors will open were you get the opportunity to work in other positions, technology or why not a completely different industry.

Your main focus will be on developing and testing software that is able to function well within the given requirements.
Developer: This role includes flexible, maintainable and extendable solutions to support the development. You will also handle the quality assurance by doing code reviews, introducing standards and engage in discussions about how to implement new and innovative ideas.
- Software development in the full vertical Android stack for the infotainment system.
- Java, C++ and the Android tool set.
- Linux development toolchain (git, gerrit, etc.).

Testing: Create test cases based on the received requirements and putting together the “road map” for the implementation and development of the test automation.
- DevOps and CI/CD
- Python
- Linux development toolchain (git, gerrit, etc.).

Software/Hardware responsible: If you want to take a step towards a more coordinated role this is an opportunity for you. You will interact with stakeholders and be responsible for the development and implementation of the Software/Hardware. It is good if you have experience from System Safety or Cyber Security for this position.
