Arbetsuppgifter:

Work tasks
As a Backend Developer your main area of responsibility is development of Preglife’s backend that handles user data. The majority of our development is done in C# (.NET core) but also SQL. This position includes working with REST APIs, databases and cloud-based architecture. You are expected to be part of the development process from giving input when writing requirements and design as well as for the actual implementation work.

Working in this position includes:
- Develop, renew and manage Preglife’s backend that handles user data. It is very important with security and data management as they handle health data
- Make connections where they receive data from the app and reformat to pass on to their partners. It is important to be able to understand different types of APIs and web services.
- Develop new types of features that contribute to the user experience in the app. It can be about creating an AI-based recommendation engine, setting up a chatbot or creating integration with smart speakers

Profil:

Education, experience and personal characteristics
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or related technical degree
• At least five years of experience with C# programming
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Experience with cloud-based architecture and comfortable with the Google Cloud Platform.
• Good understanding of how REST APIs and databases work
