Diet Doctor´s long-term goal is to help people around the world take control of their health through a healthy diet. In order to continue to grow, they are looking for a skilled Frontend developer for their team.
About Diet Doctor
Diet Doctor was founded in 2007 under the name “Kostdoktorn” as a health blog by the Swedish doctor Andreas Eenfeldt, a specialist in general medicine. It quickly became one of Sweden's most-read health blogs, and today, Diet Doctor is available in three different languages and is the world's largest site in its field. The goal is to help people take control of their well-being with the help of their diet and other tools.
Through voluntary membership, users gain access to inspirational tools and recipes on the road to better health. By providing impartial information and without investors with other agendas, the organization is owned and operated by its more than 40 employees and all profit is reinvested into the organization. Now the goal is to continue to develop and, above all, to expand its tech area to make it easier and easier to reach its users.
About the role
To make the user experience as good as possible, they are now looking for a Frontend developer. The frontend team at Diet Doctor consists of two senior Frontend developers and they are looking forward to finding another teammate with experience in JavaScript. The focus right now is on building the new platform in React and Gatsby, which means a great responsibility and opportunity to be involved in influencing the new platform and its applications.
Who we are looking for
Diet Doctor is looking for those who have worked for a few years with Frontend development in JavaScript with an associated modern framework where React and Gatsby would be preferable but not a must. Diet Doctor is a flay organization so to thrive in this role, you are structured and driven by developing processes and solutions to any problems.
A Fast pace characterizes Diet Doctor’s working environment and you have to be constantly open to changes as the company is relatively young.
