The Cross Functional Team (CFT) - Common BI infrastructure team within the Data Discovery & BI Architecture value stream in Group Business Intelligence (BI) is responsible for infrastructure operations and execution of the infrastructure road map in the BI domain. Common infrastructure includes technology level responsibility for Teradata database and enterprise analytics' platforms, Data Lake, ETL tools and existing & new data governance tools as well as a number of other supporting tools in the BI area. Group BI is growing fast and needs more talented individuals to handle increasing workload.

Our team consists of highly skilled colleagues, located in Sweden and in Baltics. We are one very tight workgroup - actively working, communicating and acting as one team. Your fresh technical vision will surely contribute to our journey of reaching Swedbank's Wanted Position. In our team, you will touch different world class technologies that are key to the bank's success of executing on the strategic initiatives.

What challenges do we offer you? You will be part of an agile team focused on Analytics platform development and maintenance and operations used by Data Lake, Data warehousing, Data Science, Information Management and Data Integration. You will work in close collaboration with other team members and Product Owner within processes and services.

Key responsibilities and duties for this role are:

Analyze software requirements;
Design and develop new software solutions;
Maintain and proactively improve existing software solutions;
Communicate and cooperate with team members, other departments and external vendors; share experience with colleagues.
Ensure compliance with DevOps practices, IaC, architectural requirements and customer's expectations
What would help you to succeed in this role? Qualifications & Skills

In order to be successful in this role we expect you to have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a similar field. You have been working in software development and/or infrastructure administration for 2+ years. You can work independently, pay attention to details and manage different tasks effectively. Since our team is international, we expect you to be fluent in English and be willing to travel regularly.

Experience that gives you an advantage

You have previously worked with Agile or SAFe framework
Linux/Unix Server software maintenance
Windows Server software maintenance
Big Data platform (infrastructure) solutions development and maintenance
Hadoop e.g. HDFS, Hive, HBase, Spark, Ranger, YARN etc.
Kafka
Anaconda
Knowledge of DevOps tools like Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, GIT etc.
IT system Administration (e.g. virtualization and servers management (configuration & security))
Cloud technologies (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or similar)
