Summary of Position
This position provides desktop support in a Windows and Macintosh environment for end users on a variety of issues.
The role would suit a recent graduate or junior support person looking for their first step on a career in IT.
Key Responsibilities: Problem Solving
The individual must be able to identify, research, and resolve technical problems, and document, track, and monitor the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
Familiarity with a variety of the field?s concepts, practices, and procedures are important. The individual should be able to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Interpersonal Relationships
The individual must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be confortable dealing with people at all levels within the company. They will be detail oriented and be able to work well independently as and when required.
First class analysis and problem solving skills, strong interpersonal and communications skills, both oral and written, are desirable
Experience
A sound understanding of some or all of the below is desirable:
Apple Macintosh OS X 10.5 ? 10.9) ? Must have
Windows OS (XP, Win7 & Win 8) Active Directory administration TCP/IP networking principles Networked printers
Adobe CS Suite VPN
Blackberry/Smartphone setup and support
