What do we offer?
In-Car Digital is one of the fastest growing areas within Automotive today, where competition is not only limited to traditional automotive competitors. Innovative and fast-moving companies like Google and Apple are influencing competition heavily.

Connectivity ART is part of In-Car Digital product stream and responsible for enabling the connected car. Technical areas for the ART include for instance Telematic Services, Connectivity and Positioning. The telematics system includes functions such as Volvo On Call functionality, mobile app, Call Center Services, telematic ECUs and important interfaces towards IT backend systems.

Our cross-functional teams need to secure the design, implementation and testing/verification of the features. The QA part needs to be done by means of automated test frameworks to the highest extent possible. We are now looking for you who are a driven Embedded Developer, who want to contribute to reinforce and accelerate the development of next generation Telematics and Connectivity platform!

You will belong to Connectivity ART and work with our project to develop "Volvo-on-Call" functionality in next generation Telematics & Connectivity Antenna Module (TCAM).

What you’ll do
As SW Developer you will be part of an agile development team, together we make sure that our customers get the best possible system with regards to functionality and quality within telematics and connectivity area. Within Connectivity ART, development teams have a mix of software developers, testers and system designers.

Your main focus will be to code for enabling communication between Antenna, Infotainment System and Cloud Services in C++. You will report status and progress in VIRA and at daily standup meetings.

You and Your Skills
You have a passion for new technologies, software development and creating great user experiences. We see that you have a master’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or similar. You are a skilled in embedded C++ on Linux platform, CI/CD tools (bash, Git, Gerrit, Jenkins) and test methodologies, like unit testing.

As a person you are communicative, fluent in English (written and spoken), with an ambition to learn Swedish. Building networks comes natural for you. You are a team player not afraid of taking the lead if needed. You have a hands-on approach, never hesitate to take up the task that is most important for the team to progress. You are eager to learn, and you always adopt new challenges with a positive attitude.
