JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Director of Frontend and Gateways development, you will belong to a team of 10 highly skilled professionals developing applications for trading and clearing to financial markets around the globe.

Nasdaq Global Technology Services (GTS) is committed to maintaining Nasdaq’s technology leadership position by developing and delivering innovative, cost efficient and short time-to-market technology solutions to our business partners and customers around the world. A key responsibility for the Front End Development and Gateways team in Stockholm is to ensure the usability of our premium product; Genium Inet Trading platform. This is a complex system with very high quality requirements, and Nasdaq is now looking to add a highly skilled Front End developer to the team. What are your daily activities?

• Your main responsibility will be in framework development, playing an integral part in designing and  implementing new concepts.
• You will take part in all steps of the development process; from defining specifications together with the customer or supplier to designing, developing and participating  during customer acceptance testing.
• Our projects usually last between 3 and 12 months and we work in SCRUM teams. International travel to our clients is expected.

• You should be  passionate for developing user friendly applications and a strong interest in understanding customer requirements.
• Expect you to  have about 2 to 5 years of experience working with Java development in a highly dynamic environment.
• Solid  knowledge in Java 7 and Spring. Experience of JProfiler, Maven, Mockito and JUnit is considered a plus, but it is not a must.
• Expecting you to have agile and analytical mindset; as well as a strong drive to achieve results, ensure high quality and solve complex problems.
