Senior Programmer

Would you like to create apps for children, from their perspective, that allows them to use their imagination freely? Apps where children all across the world feel represented?

That’s what you’ll do here with us at Toca Boca.

You’ll be part of a cross-functional, growing team of 12; General Manager, Producer, Play Designer, Programmers x4, Artists x3, QA tester and an Animator. The team is currently working on a new multiplayer experience, so your knowledge in this area will come in handy.

The sooner you join, the bigger the impact you’ll have on the final product and the gameplay and systems we implement. Pretty cool, huh?

Your challenge here with us is to create a digital toy that is loved by kids and trusted by parents.

Some of the things that you’ll be doing

• You’ll be part of setting up continuous delivery deployment pipeline for smooth releases
• You’ll find a great way to set up different environments for testing the app in kids test
• You’ll build tools to help visualize game status
• You’ll create Unity extensions to aid the process of creating assets for the game
• You'll join in on some of the fun stuff regularly occuring at the office such as trading collectables, watching Buffy during lunchtime, gaming nights etc. Creativity and fun are two words that best describe the atmosphere at your future office.

Is this you?

• Unity and C# is something you are comfortable with, you’ve been doing this for a while now.
• You strive to build clean and simple systems that integrate nicely with and extend the existing architecture and know how important it is to support the current design while being ready to adapt in the future
• You are open to learn different technologies and interested in areas ranging from app deployment, gameplay, network development and testing; on a general level
