What will you do?
You will be part of our Embedded Software team at the department of System Products. We develop the Software used in a variety of products ranging from AXIS Recording solutions to Bodyworn System Controllers and Bodyworn Cameras. Our team is involved from start to finish when developing new products. All the way from early conceptual work to ramp up of mass production and launch. In our projects we collaborate with different competence areas as mechanics, electronics, industrial design and production technologies to name a few.

The position is hands-on in a very skilled and technically strong team that values individual growth, teamwork and great spirit. The team consists of engineers, both junior and senior, working together in an open climate. We develop software both in Linux kernel space and user space. The responsibilities of the role include enabling new product features and mastering complex problems especially within the wearable domain. In this role you will play an important part in optimizing our embedded system performance and you will continue the thrilling development path until we launch new competitive products and solutions.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for Embedded Software developers with experience of C programming, preferably in an embedded environment like Linux. You probably have an engineering master's degree in computer science, physics, mathematics engineering or equivalent, with several years of relevant work experience. You are a team player who finds it easy and stimulating to work with new people spread out in our own organization and through external partners.

The following would also be meriting :

* Software design and architecture experience
* Experience with embedded devices
* Experience in C/C++/Python
* An interest covering the whole product cycle meaning everything from product definition, implementing algorithms to finished product.
* Experience in Telecommunications 3G, 4G LTE, LTE-A, 5G,
* Wi-Fi
* GPS
* Power saving algorithms
* Test automation and build systems
* Agile working methodologies
