Join our section/ART Uptime by Diagnostics in the mission to ensure that customers’ vehicles are diagnosed accurately, reliably and as quickly as possible, and with the feedback mechanisms to enable continuous improvement. This position is in the group Diagnostic System and Legal Compliance. Now we need to strengthen our workforce with another Diagnostic Core Calibration Engineer.

What you’ll do
As a Diagnostic Core Calibration Engineer you will work with calibration of Diagnostic Fault Manager and External Diagnostic Communication Services. The main task for the Diagnostic Fault Manager is to offer a generic toolbox for the different detectors (OBD monitors) and apply necessary counter measures when a fault is present like inhibitions and reconfiguration of vehicle functions. The main task for the External Diagnostic Communication is to provide a generic toolbox that delivers accurate error information to the aftermarket tool at workshops. In cooperation with your team you will be part of development of new tools for calibration and configuration of the Diagnostic Fault Manager.

You and your skills
We see that you have a master’s degree within Mechatronic, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience and at least five years of experience working within the diagnostic field. You will need previous experience in electronic diagnostic systems and the capability to understand complex systems and functions. Further you possess good knowledge in Python or C++ for development of tools, you are fluent in English and holds a Swedish Driving License.

If you have experience from working within diagnostic core development and/or experience of embedded control systems and engine control system, it is considered beneficial, as well as skills in designing software algorithms.

As a person you are driven and self managed, with a positive attitude. You enjoy being a part of an efficient engineering team and are a person how others can rely on. You always keep a structured and proactive approach towards your work.
