Academic Work is looking for a Open-Source Full Stack Engineer on behalf of our client, who is a music streaming company. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Open-Source Full Stack Engineer and you'll be joining a passionate team working to open-source Backstage, the client's platform for platforms. You will have a direct impact on the clients open-source community, helping to improve the experience of both internal employees and end-users alike.

This is a consultant assignment. Academic Work will be your employer and you will work as a consultant at our client’s company. The assignment will be full time and extend for six months.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
* Create the best experience for engineers around the world by designing, building, scaling, and evolving our platform, services, and tooling

* Engage with the Backstage community to help us deliver the best possible open-source version of the platform
* Use your full-stack experience to design intelligent solutions that include front-end, client and back-end systems
* Collaborate closely with engineers, product designers, and product owners to drive the evolution of our technology
* Help us to evolve the platform in ways that allow us to easily maintain our operational responsibilities

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* CV application must be in English

* You are experienced with modern JavaScript, TypeScript, testing, debugging, and automation techniques
* You have experience in backend development and technologies such as Python or Java
* You care about web technologies, exploring data, user experience, and design and use all of that for building user-friendly web applications
* Great communication skills in English, both written and spoken
* Experience in working with open-source technologies and taking existing technologies to the open-source community is a bonus

We are looking for you who have a can-do attitude and who love working on a team where you constantly learn, experiment and iterate quickly. You are a valued colleague in a dynamic, autonomous, cross-functional agile team. You are experienced in designing, building, testing, debugging, measuring performance and optimizing code.
