Technical Test Specialist

We are looking for a Technical Test Specialist to join our team on our ambitious and exciting journey to digitize and shape the future of financing global trade.

The role, based in Stockholm, requires collaboration with development, product management and DevOps. As a Technical Test Specialist, you are responsible for developing, implementing and ensuring testing practices and automation. You utilize your in-dept knowledge of testing technologies and best practises to recommend and inspire teams throughout the organization on producing and releasing quality applications and services.

To be successful in the role you can rapidly understand complex business concepts, workflows and involved risks in order to determine the required QA measures and testing approach. You are a highly driven, self-motivated individual, that is a true team player who has the achievements of the team at heart and prides their deliveries. You are fun-loving, eager to learn, and you like to take responsibility for your own work as well as the company’s effort.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Hands-on design and development of highly scalable, robust and maintainable automated test solutions
• Identify, implement and coach team members on software testing technologies and best practices
• Build test strategies for developed products: UI, functional, technical, interface, database
• Demonstrate forward thinking around where the organization is going and how QA technology can support these efforts
• Drive and mentor teams across the organization to always ship excellent quality applications and services

Skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study
• Has extensive hands-on experience for at least 5 years in performing all types of testing including manual, automated, functional, installation, acceptance, regression, compatibility, load, stress, UAT, performance, volume, data driven, backend
• Extensive experience of Automation Test tooling and processes – such as Puppeteer, Jasmine, JMeter, Selenium
• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. JIRA, Zephyr, etc)
• Analytical and flexible mind with problem-solving attitude
