What do we offer?
We are dedicated to electrifying our brand in a broad effort with Plug-In Hybrids (PHEVs) and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs). At the engineering department of System Integration, we are responsible for design and delivery of the technical solutions of Battery Systems and Power Supply for electrified vehicles. We cover the complete product development of mechanical, electrical and software components.

Now we are looking for DevOps engineers to our group SW framework and integration. We enable the software flow and quality for electric propulsion which contain of battery, charging and electric drive.

What you’ll do
As a DevOps team member, you will develop an automated process for building and testing software in a quality secure way. You will also be part of maintain the process, all constructed at Volvo Cars with model-based design and C/C++ code. We use Jenkins together with Git and Gerrit as the basis of our CI tool chain. This automated process will handle all the required steps for creating and delivering a binary file ready to be downloaded to our cars.

Further, you will maintain and update current scripts/tools to support an evolving software as well as evaluate and develop new tools to support other developers. You will be a part of a team responsible for deciding the future of our Software production flow with its CI/CD system to support hundreds of developers.

You and Your Skills
You have a Master of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent and possess expertise knowledge working with C/C++ and Python. You will also need experience working with continuous integration tools and an understanding of software development workflow and processes
You are an efficient team player, with great communication skills. You have an analytical approach and enjoy problem-solving. Further you are engaged, with the ability to drive change and implementation.
