Henrik leads our Managed Services team (Infrastructure) and he is now looking for a new Infrastructure Engineer to help us scale, move to the cloud and achieve greatness.

This position is located at our HQ in Stockholm (Telefonplan) but you will work with colleagues all around the world.

What will you be doing at Nexus?
OK, so we have already told you that we in the midst of a transformation journey and the future is cloudy. You will play a key part in this journey and much of your time will be spent in opting our infrastructure and work continuously towards full automation regarding our services to ensure scalability. We want our platforms to fit in with the DevOps story, be easy to support and most importantly secure and reliable.

We try to work in an agile way, with daily stand-ups and to set the scope together. The team consist of a bunch of competent people, each with there own expertise, but with a common goal of constant improvement of the platforms.

One part of this position is more of a classic system admin role, were you support our external customers with resolving problems and trouble shooting there managed services.

On-call will be part of this position.

Who are you?
We think you have a passion for tech, infrastructure and IT Security. We also think you have a relevant degree in tech or system engineering. Also, this is not your first rodeo, even though you don’t need to be an expert (yet!). If you have worked a couple of years within server administration and have the right mindset, it will get you far.

We think you can gain the relevant experience from multiple industries, but if you have a background in hosting, fintech, SaaS or betting, that’s great! Then you have worked with high requirement platforms, with strict compliance demands.

- ITIL & Change management

- Networking (Cisco)
- Firewalls (Clavister / Cisco)

You see yourself as a people person, you like to work in teams and to have many contact areas in your every day. You are good at managing yourself, to see what needs to be done and to make sure it happens. You are self-motivated, and the phrase “this is not my job” feels unfamiliar to you.
