Lead Frontend Developer with interest in IoT

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems focuses on entrance automation through design, manufacturing, sales, installation and service to optimize our customers business. We are now hiring for a new team that will help our customers and our internal service organization even further through improved operational efficiency with new and innovative IoT solutions.

What you will be doing

You will play a key role in our growing IoT team as you will be developing and creating the platform that will modernize our products by connecting them to each other and enabling an even higher level of service and availability to our customers. As a frontend developer assigned to this team, you will be focusing on creating intuitive and efficient user interfaces that will help our customers and service organization to monitor status, plan maintenance and much more.

You will be working in a close collaboration with the designers and backend developers in your team and report directly to the IoT Platform Manager. Together, you will also be involved in assessing new customer requirements in order to understand how it affects the user interface and the analytics extracted from the platform to our customers and service organization.

The divisional headquarter of ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is serving the global organization and is close to Landskrona train station.

What we are looking for

To succeed in this role we believe that you have a Masters' degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. You will also need several years of working experience from developing frontend for web applications. Experience in JavaScript frameworks is required. Knowledge about cloud platforms and experience of building web apps that interact with cloud platforms will be regarded as highly meritorious.

It is also important that you have an ability to communicate technical concepts, issues and solutions efficiently, both internally and externally. You are eager to learn and like to share your findings and knowledge with others.

Since English is our corporate language, we expect you to have a high professional knowledge and be able to speak, read and write freely when interacting with your international colleagues.
