Senior Software Developer to Systemite

Describing themselves as an “experienced start-up”, the Gothenburg Company Systemite is now looking for a Senior Software Developer who can take a leading role in the entire product development chain. This involves architectural questions and technical project lead as well as standardization and hands-on programming.

As a Senior Software Developer, you will be part of the Product Development team, a cross-functional, diverse group made up of Software Developers, Business Analysts, Software Testers and Technical Support. The team includes people with a variety of skills, with everyone eager to contribute with initiatives and new ideas. With a work process including 2-week iterations, daily stand-ups and release retrospectives, they strive to share knowledge and continually identify actions for improvement. 
Currently consisting of 14 people and counting, the team environment is family-like, diverse and intercultural. Systemite offers a great portion of “Göteborgshumor”, lunch ping-pong tournaments, flexible work hours, great commitment, and no hierarchy. 

Together with the PD team, you will play an integral role in developing the product and will be involved in everything from analysis, design, and programming to test and documentation. In this role, you will contribute with improvements and solutions that make processes and techniques more efficient. Together with the team, you will be responsible for contributing to the knowledge-sharing environment and mentoring the junior developers. 

With 7+ years’ experience in the software development field, Systemite believes that you thrive on working with a complex platform and application and would enjoy challenges like going from a legacy application to a more modern product with new technologies. You have a holistic and abstract view of possible solutions, see patterns, and look at problems as possibilities for change.
