Our Transport Development Unit develops software and hardware to interconnect network elements in our mobile networks around the world. These transport solutions enables digital transformation building our networked society where everything that can be connected will be connected.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a developer of embedded software for Ericsson world-leading microwave radio products.Your role will include development activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, software design, integration, verification,, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

Responsibilities & Tasks

Working in all product development phases from pre-study to end of life:

• System Design
• Software Development Embedded Systems
• Scripting and tool automation for software verification
• Cooperation with several different disciplines such as:
• Electrical Design
• Manufacturing
• Product Management
• Suppliers
• Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
• Develop competence in technical domain

Key Qualifications:

• Education: BSc or MSc level in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Information Technology
• Min years of experience: 2
• Domain experience: Embedded software design primarily in C/Ansi-C; Realtime OS (e.g.such as Nucleus RTOS, Xtensa, Linux); configuration management and version control such as ClearCase/GIT or similar; scripting for test automation with MatLab, Python or similar is a merit
• Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge using agile mythologies such as SCRUM or Kanban
• Working with people and networking
• Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
