• This digital data layer comprises a set of services and components, supporting three different kind of usage types: 
• Machine learning and other Artificial Intelligence use cases 
• Classical reporting and self-service data processing and business intelligence 
• Data provisioning for enterprise software as well as digital apps 

We will build this solution in an iterative way, focusing on a few initial use-cases that generate short time business value, while still building the long-term architecture in an incremental way.  As a Senior Software Engineer, your mission is to work alongside data engineers, architects and to develop scalable and production ready data processing services and products. You will be part of an autonomous team, and be part of technical decisions regarding architecture, ways of working and roadmap. Above all, your work will be part of shaping the future fashion and design industry.

Work tasks

• You will work with other engineers in an agile team, to build cloud-based products for data processing.  
• Leverage the understanding of software architecture and software design patterns to write scalable, testable, maintainable, well-designed and future-proof software 

Mandatory requirements: 

• Experienced Software Developer (5 years+) with strong mindset of building scalable and high-quality software products. You understand the challenge of design and development large scale distributed system. 
• Passionate about excellent in software engineering, robustness and scalability 
• Excellent programming skills in various languages, but specially within the .Net Microsoft ecosystem (best practices, code structure, design patterns, development workflow etc) 
• Hands on experience in DevOps and automation in software development process and tools such as Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes  
• Experienced in at least one of cloud solution like AWS, Azure or GCP 

Qualifying requirements: 

• Azure certifications in data platforms and software development 
• Technical leadership experience in product teams 
• Knowledge of Spark 
• Knowledge of Python 

Tools/software:  

• Azure  
• .Net C# 
• SQL
