Platform Software Engineer

Your position at Cambio

You will be a part of our platform team that develops the most central parts of our largest product, Cambio COSMIC, used by multiple Regions in Sweden.

The platform team consists of senior architects with long experience as well as junior developers.

Our team aims to provide the best conditions for our application developers to create awesome experiences for our customers. One of our current challenges is also to adapt and develop a SaaS solution for COSMIC.

We work agile and our primary language is Java where we support a modern environment for continuous integration (Jenkins, Jira, Sonarqube, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes etc).

About You

As a person you are a humble and responsible team player who loves problem solving.

As a platform developer it’s vital you have the “solution-perspective” on your implementation and have the ability to think as a consumer/stakeholder of your work.

You have a great interest in technology and are passionate about programming. Like us, you love talking about cloud and SaaS, and you agree that robustness and performance are critical for product’s success.

Must have:

- Extensive experience in object-oriented programming
- Experience in MSSQL
- Speaks and writes English fluently
- Degree in Computer Science or related

Nice to have:

- Experience working in platform teams or similar experience
- Java experience
- Experience with JBoss application servers or similar products
- Experience in developing deployment solutions, preferably cloud-based
- Containerization and tools such as Kubernetes and Docker
