The Tetra Pak System Integration and Deployment Support organisation within Automation&Digital integrates and delivers world-class MES and Industry 4.0 solutions and services to our customers through Tetra Pak business units, packaging platforms and market companies. As the importance and demand for digital products increases, we are now strengthening our team to support and accelerate automation growth.

The team supports and delivers MES and Industry 4.0 solutions to our customers in cooperation with our market companies. This includes product development engineering, product validation and support to delivering organisations during limited deployment.

We are now looking for a MES Solution Architect to support the design and release of solutions based on the integration of various MES platforms and Tetra Pak Plant Master.

What you will do

As Solution Architect you need MES/MIS, IT and data-base competences and you will work with designing, configuring and testing complete automation solutions for integrating various MES platforms into existing PLMS/PI solutions, adapted to different customer needs. You have knowledge and understanding of the complete automation functionality. This position is based in Lund, Sweden, and requires travelling up to 25% of your time.

  • Advanced Information solutions (MIS/MES), preferably Wonderware product suite
  • Own the solution architecture
  • Support programs and development teams with requirements and feedback
  • Close cooperation with business owners
  • Validation and field test of the Tetra Pak PlantMaster™ internally and externally to ensure quality
  • Give support to and advise market companies
  • Processing – Packaging integration
  • Packaging Line Integration and Performance Services
  • Support product deployment and implementation

Who you are

You hold a University degree in Automation, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.

  • Experience in MES systems for production environments
  • Experience in Microsoft .Net, C#.net or other programming languages and web application development
  • Wonderware Certification (InTouch, Information Server, Historian, Object Toolkits, HMI reports)
  • Good understanding of the customer’s landscape and business
  • Minimum five years of relevant work experience
  • A good command of English, both written and oral

Knowledge or experience within one or more of the following areas is considered a merit

  • Industry standards – S88 and S95
  • Recipe and Batch management system
  • Experience in working with implementation of Production Control systems (HMI/PLC)
  • OPC standard communication
  • ERP, Scheduling or WMS systems
  • Virtualisation
  • Wonderware MES
