Fund Distribution Services IT consists of 12 employees all located in Stockholm and 50 off-shore consultants in India. We are looking for a Senior IT Developer with passion for Java, web and SQL database development.
An ideal candidate would besides being a Senior IT Developer also be strong in the area of a Senior IT Analyst. Passion to understand the customer?s needs and the business value of what you develop is key in order to deliver great solutions for us.
We also prefer if you have experiences as a tech lead and / or Scrum master.

Job description
Fund Distribution Services IT (FDS IT) enables Nordea to efficiently distribute investment funds through several channels, such as net-banks, mobile apps and internal office web clients.
Core functionalities for FDS IT include how to view investment fund holdings in different channels, how to buy and sell investment funds, and how to create customer reports, such as tax reports.
FDS handles 20 million fund trade transactions per year and manages the fund universe towards our 2 million clients.
In this position you will be working in two different roles within the FDS team, the Senior IT Developer, and the IT Analyst Role.

IT Senior Developer: In this role you will be participating in the daily scrum, undertaking tasks and stories from the sprint backlog. You will take an active part in the sprint planning, bridging the gap between the product owner team in Sweden and the part of the scrum team located in the Extended Delivery Center in India. The tasks ranges from writing code to performing knowledge transfer sessions. We are striving towards working with an increased level of test automation; thus, it?s required to be interested in working in such an environment.

Senior IT Analyst: In this role you will be performing systems analysis to solve a known problem or to do consequence analysis in order to determine the effects on the system caused by future feature implementations. It will be necessary to gain a deep understanding of both the technical platform and the business operations.

Needed competences
You preferably hold a Master degree or equivalent. You have excellent communication skills and are used to working in an intercultural environment with teams spread over multiple country locations. The team that you will be working in is sitting in Stockholm.
