Data Scientist - Data Driven Services

We are looking for a highly motivated Data Scientist who loves exploring data and, based on new insights, build our next generation services. You will be working in a dedicated team who build Atlas Copco’s new IoT platform, which is one of Atlas Copco’s core future strategies. The project is in its early phase, which offers a lot of freedom when it comes to data exploration. You will have a big impact on the services the platform will offer, work independently and be given the chance to learn along the way. You will also work closely with our hardware products, doing experiments and having the chance to influence the next generation of Atlas Copco’s connected hardware.

Responsibilities/tasks

• Find business cases and customer value using machine learning, statistics and/or other methods in combination with learning the relevant domain knowledge required
• Present insights to stakeholders using story telling
• Collaborate cross-functionally with software engineers, hardware engineers and project managers to implement scalable solutions in a production environment
• Track, evaluate and evolve models and services

Location

You will work together with the team in our office in Nacka, Stockholm.

Your Core Skills

• BS/MS/ in Computer Science/Mathematics or related technical discipline
• Great knowledge in machine learning and statistics
• Programming in Python
• Fluent in SQL
• Experience with Spark and cloud computing
• Comfortable using GIT

Good to have

• Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure platform
• Understanding of mechanics
